Ho! Ho! Ho!

Wow, time to catch up before Santa gets here! We were sick a couple of weeks ago with the nasty stomach bug that made its way through this city. It made its way through our whole house in one short weekend. Yuck!

Busted

Enjoying our new music player from Gigi

Always on the search for food, he pulled this plate off the table and helped himself

Clayton played the shepherd in the school play

Clayton's preschool class

Watch out, he's quick!

Watch out Sam!

Very confident in his driving skills

Listen to me and no one gets hurt!

Merry Christmas!

Admiring the gingerbread houses

Ho! Ho! Ho!

High Five from Santa

Riding the train at Union Station

Time to decorate the gingerbread house

The "Helper"

Hanging Christmas lights

"Ta-Da!"

Clayton's favorite thing to see at Christmas time - "The Candy Man - making candy!"

A really cool Christmas tree!

Sam un-decorating the tree - not yet Sam!

Had to take advantage of a picture opportunity - he (usually) hates the camera! :)

At the preschool Christmas sing program

New & Funny Happenings:
- Sam can stack blocks by himself (up to 7). He likes to knock them down if you do it though.
- Sam's favorite toys are the ball popper and blender shape sorter
- Sam can give high fives
- Sam likes to turn around backwards and sit down in your lap
- Sam loves to be naked! So if I can't make him happy all I have to do is strip him down and let him run around naked - not really the time of year to be running around naked!
- Sam got his first professional haircut (12/10)
- Clayton is very inquisitive (gee wonder where he gets that) but he is asking more and more difficult questions - Why is the sky blue? Why is honey sticky? Why does water turn to ice? He is keeping us on our toes.
- Clayton's favorite toys are his spiderman figures
- Daddy to Clayton - Clayton do you like broccoli?.....No Daddy, I only like bacon!
- Clayton to Mommy - I shouldn't say damn-nit anymore, right mom?
- Clayton told Santa "I have not been good" first thing when he got up there (without being prompted). On his wish list this year are "Pop the Pig" game and Eve the robot (from Wall-E)
- Clayton told me - "Mommy - you can't just throw chocolate cake in the trash! I'm going to put you in jail!"
- Clayton's favorite Christmas songs are Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and The 12 Days of Christmas

Merry Christmas!
Ashley
