Happy Thanksgiving & Deck the Halls!

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! We had a very uneventful holiday this year, with just the 4 of us here at home. Kevin cooked the turkey, and I cooked all the sides, as well as made a pumpkin pie from scratch (with the leftover pumpkins from Halloween!). The pumpkin was, by far, the best course :) The kids agreed as well!

Merry Christmas!

New & Funny Happenings:
- Sam is babbling quite a bit, though nothing is making sense yet - he does look at us like "don't you get what I'm saying?"
- One night while saying his prayers I asked Clayton what he was thankful for and he said "I am thankful for Jesus" so I said "why are you thankful for Jesus" and he said "Because I love Him and I love God."
- Clayton likes to wake up in the morning and wake us all up from the bottom of the stairs by saying "Cock-a-dooooodle-DOOOO"
- Instead of just WHY? Clayton now asks "Why does God make it that way mom?" - guess I've used that answer too many times :)
- Sam is constantly digging in the trash, or dropping items in the trash. We've even caught him eating out of the trash (gross I know!)
- Sam loves to play in the kitchen. He is especially fascinated by the spices and loves to bring them to us. He also loves the cutting boards, and the lazy susan that is filled with canned goods. He is a busy body!
- Sam likes to hide things. I have found things in cabinets that I never knew were there. One morning we were trying to get out the door and I couldn't find his sippy cup (that I had just given him) and turned out he had stashed it in the cabinet. Silly boy!
- Daddy to Clayton: "Clayton do you like broccoli?" - "No Daddy, I only like bacon".
- Sam's favorite toys: wooden shape sorter, monkey jack-in-the-box, he loves to bring us books - as in "read to me!" - his favorite is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear"
