11 months old!

Today Sam is 11 months old - hard to believe he is almost 1 year old!! He is into everything! We predict he will walk by his first birthday. It seems he already wants to but his little legs just aren't quite strong enough!

New & Funny Happenings:

• One day at breakfast, Clayton wasn't talking to me. Then after a few minutes he said "sorry mom - my switch was turned off, but it is back on now!"
• I asked Clayton if he could carry his water bottle and he said "Mom you can carry it - you have 2 hands!"
• Clayton sometimes says "sure thing Mom!"
• 8/17 - Sam escaped the exersaucer. He was out in it on the sidewalk while I was picking weeds. He was within 5 feet of me, I didn't have on headphones, I never heard a thump or cry or anything - only turned around to see him sitting on the sidewalk like nothing had even happened!
• Clayton is learning to swim with the help of his new swimming vest - he even floats on his back and kicks his legs!
• I asked Clayton where Daddy was yesterday and he said "Daddy is at work - he has to go to work because people are counting on him - and if he doesn't, then they put him in time out!"
• Clayton will say to Sam "Hey Sam - come here boy!"
  
• Clayton is very good at impersonating Zurg (from Toy Story)
• Sam's favorite foods: rice & lentils, carrots & tomatoes
• New foods he has tried: eggs, potatoes, sausage - he would rather play with it than eat it :)
• Sam's favorite toys: jar lids (why buy toys?), & board books
• Clayton loves anything by Richard Scarry - but especially the "Busytown" DVD's from the library
